  1. Adorama TV – With their excellent Digital Photography 1 on 1 series, Adorama TV is an excellent resource for photography beginners, explaining in-depth basic photography concepts in a simple and understandable way. They also feature some interesting photography apps reviews, so it’s well worth investigating.
  2. Nikon Help Hotline – Interesting guides explaining photography basics, as well as one of our favorite linking places for video tutorials due to it’s lightweight way of explaining, played with subtle music background. Thumbs up.
  3. Bryan Peterson’s YouTube Channel. – Bryan is a well known photographer, as well as the writer of the famous “Understanding Exposure” photography book for beginners. He has some great tips on macro photography.
  4. CanonAustralia – Very interesting photography guides simply explained in a technical way, usually accompanied with some diagrams. If you prefer technical style of explaining, this might be ideal youtube channel for you.
  5. Michael Andrew Photography School – Some good photograph tips, worth checking out.
  6. Rick’s Pixel Magic – Another photography tips loaded YouTube channel. We especially liked his top 10 photography tips. Short and to the point. Well executed.
  7. Photographers Academy – A concept of online photography academy. Features few interesting guides, although most of the video content is paid. We did not have a chance to review the paid content, although we might do so in the near future.
  8. CameraLabs.com – Very good channel for checking camera reviews, led by Gordon Laing. Although there are not many tips here for photography per se, there are loads of information that would help you choose your (possibly first) camera, and that is why we decided to include it in the top 10.
  9. What Digital Camera – A YouTube channel of a famous photography magazine, featuring video reviews of digital cameras, like CameraLabs. Useful to check out.
