Welcome to Digital Photography Student – a blog with photography tips and technical advice for everyone eager to learn more and experiment with digital photography.

My name is Alan Graf and I am the guy behind Digital Photography Student. While I am not professional photographer, photography is my passion. I am attracted to all types of form, color and pattern. Flower photography and animals are among my favorite photography subjects, when I am not traveling. I also enjoy travel and landscape photography when the time permits it. I am also a firm believer in sharing the knowledge, and helping others learning the art of photography. This is how I came to idea to start Digital Photography Student, as a collection of photography tips and techniques for beginners (like me not so long ago) that would help people learn photography fundamentals, and improve their photography skills. In DPStudent I review photography books I have read, photography software I have tested, photography tips I have learned, as well as useful photography links and video tutorials I have discovered when browsing the web.
